French School in Rabat Closes Due to COVID-19 Outbreak, Shifts to Remote Learning

After the detection of several positive Covid-19 cases within the Saint-Exupéry school in Rabat, the management has decided to close the establishment under the AEFE and switch to distance learning.
In a message sent to parents, the head of the institution informs that the school will be closed until further notice following a decision by the Moroccan authorities.
The students will follow their lessons remotely "as soon as possible", the establishment specifies, "the time for the teachers to adapt their courses". Details on the modalities of this teaching will be communicated "before the end of the week," the message concludes.
According to concordant sources, a series of anti-Covid tests was carried out at the school level on Tuesday, January 4, which resulted in a series of positive cases. This would have motivated the decision to end face-to-face teaching.
