French Pension Protests Threaten Morocco-France Flights Amid National Strike

Since January, the mobilizations against the pension reform and the postponement of the legal retirement age to 64 continue in France. Many flights between Morocco and the hexagon could be canceled next week due to a new national strike.
In France, the protest against the pension reform is not waning. Several trade union organizations have filed a notice of national interprofessional strike in the entire public service and the private sector for Monday, March 20. As a result, "from Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the evening until Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 6 am, air traffic will be disrupted from and to Paris-Orly and Marseille-Provence airports," warns the National Interprofessional Social Movement.
For its part, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) has issued a statement calling on airlines to reduce their flight schedule by 30% at Paris-Orly airport and 20% at Marseille-Provence airport. "Despite these preventive measures, disruptions and delays are nevertheless to be expected," it added.
