French National Arrested in Morocco for Child Sexual Abuse, Faces Judge

Arrested this week in flagrante delicto of pedophile acts in Tangier, in northern Morocco, a French national was presented to the judge who decided to detain him.
Sources cited by the site le360 say that this man, L.R, born in 1966, had been arrested on May 14 in the company of a 13-year-old minor in an apartment he had rented. He had admitted to the investigators that he had paid the child for "a paid sexual act".
The man had already stayed in Morocco two years ago and had already been arrested by the police in a case of shark trafficking, reports the same source. As he was about to take a flight to Madrid (from Tangier), customs officers found three shark jaws in his luggage that he had bought for around a hundred euros in a souk. He got away with paying a fine.
As the same source recalls, he now risks many years in prison if he is found guilty of pedophilia by the justice system.
