French Fraud Suspect Arrested at Marrakech Airport on Interpol Warrant

A few days ago, a French national was arrested in Marrakech who was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by Interpol and requested by the Swiss authorities. He had defrauded a Swiss holding company.
This French national had been convicted in absentia by Swiss courts for fraud. The Swiss authorities then issued an international arrest warrant against him, through Interpol. Less than a month later, he was arrested last Saturday at Marrakech-Menara airport as he was about to leave Morocco, heading for the French city of Bordeaux.
Citing its own sources, Le360 states: "the defendant, born in Paris in 1961, responds to the first name of Jacques Thierry Marie B. He has been the subject of a red notice since April 24, 2019, i.e. for less than a month. He is suspected of having committed a series of embezzlements to the detriment of a holding company, CGE-RHI S.A, based in Geneva and currently in liquidation, of which he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors".
The same source explains that Thierry Marie B. would have granted himself without valid reason benefits amounting to 1.5 million Swiss francs, the equivalent at the current rate to 14,245,761 dirhams or 1,316,767 euros.
