Three weeks after the signing of the extradition decree of the young Frenchman Sébastien Raoult, he boarded on Wednesday afternoon for the United States.
Accused of cybercrime by the FBI, the young man who, before his legal troubles, was only a student, risks a heavy sentence in this case. Since his arrest in Morocco, he was held in detention at the Tiflet 2 prison.
This extradition is a disappointment for the young man’s father. Paul Raout has long campaigned for his son to be handed over to the French authorities.
