France Streamlines Online Process for Foreign Driver’s License Exchange

Holders of a Moroccan or other nationality driver’s license have the possibility of exchanging it for a French license to continue driving. The application is now made online on the website of the National Agency for Secure Titles (ANTS).
No more trips to the prefecture to exchange a passport obtained abroad. The official website of the French administration informs foreign residents in France that they can exchange their driver’s license obtained abroad for a French driver’s license through an application on the website of the National Agency for Secure Titles (ANTS).
SMS or emails will then be sent to the applicant to inform them of the progress of the processing of their file. The French public services also specify that people who were supposed to submit their application between March 12 and June 23 have until September 23, 2020 to do so online.
