Four Moroccan Migrants Discovered in Truck at Ceuta Port, Deported

Four Moroccans who had hidden for more than three days inside a truck were arrested on Thursday by the police services in Ceuta, before being deported to Morocco in accordance with immigration law.
During a routine check carried out by police officers at the port of Ceuta, the four men, whose ages were not specified, were found hidden inside a truck in the vehicle control area, reports the local newspaper el Pueblo de Ceuta. They were planning to board towards the city of Algeciras, in southern Spain.
As the newspaper points out, migrants, whether Moroccans or nationals of other African countries, are willing to do anything to get to Algeciras. Sometimes the police find them in the chassis, between the axles, or even inside toolboxes.
"The four men were arrested for violating the legislation on foreigners. Of Moroccan nationality, they were all handed over to the Moroccan police the same day," writes the local media. For one of them, this is the fourth time he has been handed over to the Moroccan police, the newspaper specifies, according to which he has already been imprisoned for the same acts on the peninsula.
It should be noted that for several weeks, violent clashes have been taking place almost daily between Moroccan and Algerian nationals for the "control of the territory". A Moroccan had also seriously injured someone the previous week.
