The net is tightening on the Moroccans who had fled the plane after an emergency landing at Palma de Mallorca airport (Spain). Four of them were arrested on Wednesday and searches are continuing to arrest the other eight.
The four Moroccan fugitives were arrested in Sa Pobla, located northwest of the island, during an operation jointly carried out by the police and the Civil Guard. They were brought before the court in the morning. According to the Spanish media 20 Minutos, two of the fugitives would have already left the island by ferry.
In total, 23 Moroccans and one Palestinian would be involved in this incident. For the moment, 12 people have been arrested. These are the man who caused the emergency landing of the plane by simulating a diabetic coma, his accomplice who accompanied him to the hospital and who fled once in front of the medical center, another man who assaulted a Civil Guard agent inside the aircraft, as well as nine other passengers who ran away as soon as the plane landed on the tarmac.

To recall, on November 6, a plane that had left Morocco for Turkey made an emergency landing in Palma de Mallorca, following a false medical alert. Passengers took advantage of the confusion to flee.
