Four Arrested in Burglary of Foreign Diplomat’s Residence in Rabat

The Rabat police prefecture, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, succeeded last Wednesday in arresting 4 individuals for their alleged involvement in the burglary of the residence of a foreign diplomat.
Several personal belongings and a significant sum of money were found at the suspects’ homes, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security, which specifies that the investigation, opened on Saturday morning, led to the arrest of the main suspect.
In addition to the mother and aunt of the accused who were caught in the act of receiving stolen jewelry, the statement points out that a fourth individual was arrested in possession of a digital camera belonging to the diplomat.
The 4 suspects were taken into custody and made available to the investigation conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine the ins and outs of the case.
