Former Wonderkid Hachim Mastour Helps Moroccan Club Secure Promotion to Top Flight

The team of former Moroccan international Hachim Mastour, once qualified as the new Messi, has just joined the elite of Moroccan football. Renaissance Zemamra (RCAZ) is first in Botola 2.
Renaissance Zemamra (RCAZ) won a convincing 3-0 victory over Widad Temara (WST), crowning them champions with 54 points. It is therefore promoted to the first division, a year after being relegated.
Last September, Hachim Mastour had joined the Moroccan second division club after touring many European clubs.
Touched by the comments that had sparked his transfer to D2, he had wanted to justify his choice. "When we set a goal, a dream as I have said before, we can sometimes see it as something distant. But we have to see the next step and not the finish line, and then we have to take that step. We always look to the future, to the end, we look at the length of the journey and we feel overwhelmed. But in reality, we have to tell ourselves: okay, I don’t have to worry, because it will come and at each step, we get closer to our dream [...] We all have dreams. I hope that we, the dreamers, will achieve our goals," he had explained.
