Former Rap Star Diam’s Returns to France with New Project After Years Abroad

The former French rapper, Diam’s, is signing her big comeback in France after leaving it in 2014 with her husband, Faouzi Tarkhan, their son Abraham, and her eldest daughter (born from a previous marriage) for a new project.
Having left France in 2017, Diam’s had returned to Saudi Arabia, after converting to Islam. This decision by the former rapper, who became a veiled woman, was made after a major depression, and because of death threats she was receiving and repeated burglaries of her home.
This was enough for the performer of "Jeune demoiselle", "La boulette" or "Confessions nocturnes" to leave France where she had "lost" her soul to join this Gulf country and devote herself to her family and her faith.
Nearly three years after her departure, which left her many fans orphaned, Mélanie Georgiades, in civil status, is back with a new project. According to the magazine People Public, the singer has reintegrated her home in the Yvelines, in this small village of 1,400 souls, where she had withdrawn from the media spotlight.
The former rapper, with multiple distinctions, is back for a new career, far from concerts and microphones. The same magazine specifies that at 39, Diam’s is preparing a beautiful reconversion, in decoration, a sector in which she feels more "active".
