The former coach of the Mouloudia d’Oujda, Abdeslam Ouaddou, has not finished making headlines. He threatens to file a complaint against the club for unilateral termination of his contract and demands 10 million dirhams, which he says he intends to invest in his native region in Morocco.
Abdelslam Ouaddou has hired a team of lawyers and legal experts in sports and tax matters to help him in this battle. After 6 months of preparation, the file relating to the complaint that the former international wants to file against Mouloudia d’Oujda, which he coached at the beginning of the season, is ready and will be filed with the national sports legal authorities and also with the FIFA Ethics Committee. The complaint targets the club and its president, according to the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
"The request is finalized with a surgical precision of my lawyers whom I thank for the excellent work," Ouaddou explained in a social media post. He is claiming 9.8 million dirhams plus 5% default interest calculated from the date of unilateral termination of the contract. With the advice of his lawyers, Abdeslam Ouaddou has decided to bring the case before the competent courts of Morocco, and then before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
"This money will be largely devoted to human, educational and sports development in my Drâa-Tafilalet region," says the former coach, who stresses that "a football club is now managed like a real company, with respect for labor law."
