Former Morocco Star Ouaddou Claims Unpaid Wages, Broken Promises at Oujda Club

The former coach of the Mouloudia Club of Oujda, Abdeslam Ouaddou, has not yet digested his departure from the technical staff of the club in the East, believing that he has been the victim of a scam by the club’s management.
In a long interview with sportnewsafrica.com, taken up by Assabah, the former defender of the Atlas Lions returns to his short experience at the MCO and tries to set the record straight.
Contrary to the allegations of the club president, Mohamed Houar, he declares that he has never received his revealed salary. "I was staying at the hotel, I didn’t have the promised company car. With my technical staff, we had to systematically take a taxi, which is not always ideal," laments the former head of the club’s technical staff. Abdeslam Ouaddou claims to have rented a bus at his own expense for a training camp in El Jadida.
Disappointed by this treatment, Abdeslam Ouaddou confesses to having been duped by the club’s management. "I was deceived. All these unfulfilled promises. These unmet commitments, towards the players, my staff, myself. It’s nothing but fraud. I learned that the president was in the habit of not paying the players, not answering the phone."
He also denounces the fate reserved for this club "which can count on real supporters, with a good potential of players." "But it is simply in the hands of incompetent people," he regrets.
