Former Moroccan Soccer Star Ouaddou Donates $100,000 to COVID-19 Fund

The former Moroccan international, Abdessalam Ouaddou, also contributed to the Special Fund for the management of the coronavirus epidemic.
The current coach of the U17 of AS Nancy Lorraine, has responded to the call of King Mohammed VI by offering an envelope of 1 million dirhams to the Special Covid-19 Fund.
The former teammate of Djamel Belmadi, in a statement to Le360, believes that he is only doing his patriotic duty, in this period of global health crisis. According to him, he is putting his words into action, since it is an initiative launched by King Mohammed VI. "The real heroes today are not the footballers or the athletes, but the medical staff who save and will save lives," acknowledged the former Fulham player in England.
Set up since March 15, the fund’s kitty has reached over 27 billion in 3 days. As for the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), it has contributed 10 million dirhams.
