Former Moroccan News Director Faces Multiple Lawsuits from PJD Ministers

Judicial proceedings against journalists are far from rare as they should be. Mohamed Khabbachi, current director of the news site Barlamane.com, would have several lawsuits on his back, from three PJD ministers.
According to the Jeune Afrique website, the former director of MAP (the official press agency of Morocco) and current director of Barlamane.com would be "in the sights of the Islamists of the PJD". We don’t know yet on what basis Jeune Afrique is basing this.
In any case, this media specifies: "Three ministers from this party: Mustapha Ramid (Human Rights), Abdelaziz Rebbah (Energy and Mines) and Lahcen Daoudi (Governance) have brought lawsuits against this media, which also complains of being excluded from the list of beneficiaries of the annual financial support granted to the press by Mohamed Laaraj, the Minister of Communication."
The same media reveals that the reasons for this animosity of certain PJD members towards Khabbachi are the publication by the latter in the first place of "several embarrassing morality and mismanagement affairs for the PJD, including the escapades of the deputy Amina Maelaïnine and the exact amount of the retirement pension of Abdelilah Benkirane".
This case remains to be confirmed or followed.
