Former Moroccan Minister Accuses Algeria of Orchestrating Migrant Surge into Ceuta

Former Moroccan Minister Mohammed Ben Abdelkader has openly accused Algeria of being behind the latest attempts by hundreds of migrants, mostly minors, to assault Ceuta.
Mohammed Ben Abdelkader stated that the Algerian intelligence services would have prepared an operation aimed at infiltrating the city of Ceuta on September 15. On the "X" platform, he expressed his conviction that this initiative, which he calls "Castillejo" (Fnideq in Spanish), would have been orchestrated by the "neighbor to the East," referring to Algeria.
"I have no doubt that the ’Operation Castillejos’, which claimed to involve naive minors believing in a European Eldorado, was cynically prepared by the services of the neighbor to the East, and stupidly promoted by social media activists," he wrote.
Ben Abdelkader also praised the efficiency of the Moroccan security services, congratulating them on their ability to thwart what he considers an attempt orchestrated by the Algerian services.
