Former French International Seufyann Sayad Joins Gap Handball Club

The Gap Handball club will now benefit from the services of former French international, Seufyann Sayad, (17 caps) and Moroccan (8 caps). This comes after the club’s victory (41-35) over Cavaillon last Sunday in a delayed Pré-national match. A victory that propels the club towards the third national division.
Seufyann Sayad, a French player of Moroccan origin, born in Sélestat, is now 40 years old. At 1.92m for 88kg, this Franco-Moroccan is a left back and can also play as a half-center. He has already played for clubs such as Chambéry, Toulouse, and Nantes.
After leaving Nantes in 2015, Sayad, whose career has been marked by injuries, ended his professional career at the end of the past season at Puerto Sagunto, in the Valencia region of Spain, reports the newspaper Le Dauphiné.
This player, who has a wealth of experience, participated in the 2012 African Nations Cup under the Moroccan colors. A competition at the end of which he was elected MVP.
