Former Footballer Turned Smuggler Found Dead in Moroccan Forest
The former amateur player in Italy who became a smuggler in Morocco, David Coulibaly, was found dead in the forest of Oujda.
According to the facts, Ivorians are the perpetrators of this premeditated murder. They kidnapped and beat David Coulibaly to death in the forest of Oujda, reports L’Obs. The homicide was motivated by a fraud case.
The former player had demanded 300,000 FCFA from each illegal immigration candidate wishing to reach Spain, the same source specifies. He had received the money from 50 young people of Ivorian, Senegalese, Gambian and other nationalities.
David Coulibaly then disappeared. No one saw him again in Casablanca where he had two apartments at his disposal. The Ivorians then started searching for him. They finally found him at the Algerian border. They kidnapped him and beat him to death in the forest of Oujda.
For now, the Ivorians are actively looking for the smuggler’s right-hand man, Cheikh Siby, former playmaker of CNEPS and Yeggo.
