Family Members Face Charges After Fatal Confrontation with Suspected Warehouse Thief in Morocco

The events took place in the commune of Riah in the province of Berrechid. An individual alerted three young people aged seventeen to nineteen of an attempted burglary in their commercial warehouse, reports Assabah. On their arrival, they surprised the alleged thief at the entrance of the garage. Armed with a cleaver, one of the young people dealt him a fatal blow. He died on the spot.

Alerted, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie went to the scene where they proceeded to arrest these three young people. They also calmed the spirits that were heating up. The victim’s relatives wanted to settle the score with the alleged murderers. What next? It was decided to transfer the body of the deceased to the morgue and to place the three young people in custody.
