Forbes 2026: Moroccan Women Lead Arab Family Business Giants

Forbes Middle East did not only focus on Moroccan billionaires in its 2026 rankings. In its Top 100 Arab family businesses, the economic magazine also distinguishes two Moroccan women leading major family groups: Rita Maria Zniber and Mama Tajmouati.

The first leads Diana Holding, ranked 84th in the Arab ranking. Founded in 1956 by the late Brahim Zniber, the group has become one of Morocco’s major players in agro-industry. Forbes Middle East notes that Rita Maria Zniber joined the family business in 1988 and has held her current position since 2014.

Diana Holding operates in several sectors, from agriculture to beverages, including poultry farming, seafood products, plastic packaging, distribution and retail. The group manages approximately 8,300 hectares of agricultural land, has over 30 subsidiaries and employs nearly 7,200 people.

The other leader mentioned is Mama Tajmouati, Chief Executive Officer of YNNA Holding, the Chaâbi family group. Forbes Middle East ranks YNNA Holding 85th among Arab family businesses in 2026.

Founded by the late Miloud Chaâbi, the group has developed in hospitality, industry, construction, distribution, food processing and real estate. Its portfolio notably includes Super Cérame, Aswak Assalam, Chaabi Lil Iskane, GPC Papier et Carton, SNEP and SCIF.

YNNA Holding has also embarked on a new phase in renewable energy. In June 2025, the group signed an agreement with AMEA Power to develop a 100-megawatt wind farm in Laâyoune, expected to become operational in 2027.
