Floods in Spain: the Moroccan community severely affected

Faced with the violent floods that have hit southeastern Spain, causing the death of at least 158 people, Morocco has activated its crisis cell.
The Moroccan consular services in the affected regions, particularly in Valencia, Madrid and Seville, are mobilized to provide all necessary assistance to Moroccan nationals.
Local crisis cells have been set up at each consulate general in order to closely monitor each situation and respond to requests for assistance. The consular teams claim to be in close contact with the Spanish authorities and Moroccan associations on the ground to gather as much information as possible on the status of Moroccan nationals.
