FIFA Proposes Solution for Moroccan Clubs Facing Player Contract Expirations

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has made an interesting proposal to relieve Moroccan clubs whose players’ contracts expire next June.
These Moroccan clubs are wondering if they will still be able to play their players whose contracts expire on June 30, in the event that the football season continues beyond that date. This problem does not only affect Moroccan clubs, but all football clubs in the world, it is specified.
To resolve this crucial issue, which arose following the spread of the coronavirus, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has set up a working group to conduct reflections. At the end of its work, the working group proposes the exceptional extension of players’ contracts for a few weeks so that they can finish the season with their respective clubs.
This solution would be salutary for Moroccan clubs, especially those playing on several fronts, such as Raja, Wydad, RSB or Hassania d’Agadir.
