Fez University Tops Morocco’s Rankings in Global Young Universities List

The international ranking of young universities (universities less than fifty years old) has unveiled its list of the best universities in the world. The Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University (USMBA) of Fez once again tops the national ranking.
According to the 2021 ranking of the best universities in the world published by The Times Higher Education (THE), the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University of Fez occupies the first place at the national level. A ranking that is based on several criteria such as teaching, research, citations, financial resources and international reputation.
THE specifies that this year the USMBA has progressed in the citations indicator, which has gone from 53.2 in 2020 to 59 in 2021. It also recorded a score of 33.5 for the knowledge transfer indicator, and 32.1 for the training indicator.
The Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University is positioned between the 601st and 800th place internationally. We also find in the ranking, the Hassan II University of Casablanca, the Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech and the Mohammed V University of Rabat, classified beyond the 1001st place.
Prestigious for its research, the quality of its training and its contribution to the progress of universal knowledge, the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University aims to be among the top universities at the national and international level.
