Ferry Service Resumes Between Spain and Morocco, Allowing Vehicles After 2-Year Pause

The first ferry carrying passengers with vehicles will depart from Almeria on Tuesday evening for Nador with more than 300 passengers and more than 100 vehicles.
The Almeria-Nador line is fully restored, after two years of suspension. This Tuesday, passengers with vehicles will be allowed to board for Morocco, a week after the resumption of maritime links between Spain and Morocco, reports Estrecho Digital.
"Last week, the link with Nador was restored, but only for passengers without vehicles, and on Monday, it is fully restored, as travelers can board with their cars, caravans or motorcycles," said Jesús Caicedo, the president of the Port Authority of Almeria (APA).
The first passengers with their vehicles will arrive on Wednesday from Nador to Almeria on the same Wasa Express ferry from Balearia, Caicedo announced, hoping that with this full resumption of maritime traffic, the Marhaba Operation can take place normally, after two consecutive years of cancellation.
