Ferry Service to Morocco Resumes for Vehicles, Boosting Travel from Spain

Passengers with vehicles will be able to board, starting this Monday, for Tangier from the port of Algeciras. The maritime link between Algeciras and Tangier has resumed on Tuesday last for passengers without vehicles, after two years of suspension.
Passengers with vehicles will be able to travel to Tangier from Algeciras and Tarifa by ferry this Monday at 9:00 a.m., the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) said in a note cited by Europa Press.

Only passengers who have a ticket will be allowed to travel and, in accordance with the current health protocol, will have to present a vaccination passport or a negative PCR test dated 72 hours before the trip.
In addition, the Algeciras-Ceuta line continues to operate for passengers and vehicles, the APBA added in its note. The land border between Ceuta and Morocco remains closed for the moment.
