New Ferry Service to Connect Morocco and Spain Daily

The Moroccan shipping company, Morocco Cruise Line, is preparing to land in the Strait of Gibraltar by launching a new line between the port of Tanger Med and that of Motril.
Mohamed Laiazic El-kadiri, representing the shipping company, Morocco Cruise Line, and José García Fuentes, representing the port authority, accompanied respectively by their technical teams, held an institutional meeting, reports El Estrecho Digital. The objective is to present the port services and prepare the launch of this new line that will connect Morocco daily.
This maritime link will be operated by a ship with a capacity of more than 120 freight units and 53 drivers traveling with their trailers or semi-trailers. The ship is equipped with two ramps, one on the rear door and the other on the side, which makes it a versatile ferry that can operate on different quays of the port, in order to simplify the loading operations. The MCL company wanted this new maritime connection to contribute to the strengthening of trade between the ports of Tanger Med and Motril.
"The port of Motril has worked hard in recent months to relaunch connections with Morocco," said José García Fuentes.
