New Ferry Route Links Spain’s Almeria to Morocco’s Nador

The shipping company GNV has announced the launch from July 20 of a new line connecting Almeria to Nador, with 10 weekly rotations.
The ship Aurelia will operate the connections between Almeria and Nador. It is a 1,000 linear meter ro-pax ship capable of accommodating 650 cars and 2,260 passengers. The ferry has 420 cabins and offers comfort and various on-board services including restaurants, a buffet, a cinema and shops, reports Diario de Almeria.
"We are very proud to inaugurate our new route connecting the city of Almeria to the Moroccan port of Nador. This connection aims to meet the market demand in terms of services and lines, and demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Spanish ports," explained Matteo Catani, CEO of GNV.
With this new line, GNV also reaffirms its objective of increasing connections and trade between Spain and Morocco. Reservations can be made through travel agencies, GNV offices and ticket offices in ports and customer service centers or on the company’s website.
