Feasibility Study Begins for 7,000 km Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline Project

The Australian engineering company Worley has announced that it has been selected to carry out an initial feasibility study of the pipeline project that is to connect Nigeria to Morocco.
The link would extend over more than 7,000 km and cross 13 African countries, Worley recalled, adding that it would be the longest offshore pipeline in the world and the second longest in total. The record is held by the China West-East gas pipeline, which is just over 8,700 km long.
