Father Who Lost Family in 2016 Nice Terror Attack Dies at 42

For having lost his wife and young son in the terrorist attack in Nice, on the "Promenade des Anglais", the family man, who had moved France with his infinite distress, has finally passed away, in turn, at the age of 42. For his loved ones, these last three years have been difficult to live with, with such a heavy memory.
To announce the death of Tahar Mejri, the "Memorial of the Angels" Association posted, this Thursday, on Facebook, his photo which is captioned: "To die of love."
"It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tahar Mejri, 42 years old, father of Kylan Mejri, who died on July 14, 2016. All our thoughts, our affection and our support to his companion, Rachel, who, despite all her love, failed to get him out of his unspeakable suffering." This is the message published by the Association which pays tribute to the 86 victims of the Nice attack.
We remember, on July 14, 2016, Tahar Mejri had moved all of France and the whole world. This family man, according to the LCI channel, had, in his "infinite distress, tried the impossible, for thirty-six hours, to see his little boy alive again and to publicize his searches on social networks. But in vain!"
An investigation has been opened to clarify the circumstances of the death of the family man, reports "Nice-Matin". According to this media, even if nothing allows, for the moment, to lend credence to the thesis of suicide, the confidences of his relatives and, above all, of the new companion of Tahar Mejri, prove well that it was increasingly difficult for the quadragenarian to live with this incurable suffering.
"He wasn’t doing well. Recently, I felt him tired. I did everything to ease his suffering. I didn’t succeed...", confided his new companion to the daily newspaper. The same observation was made by his lawyer. "We tried to instill in him a desire, with life projects, but he was, constantly, with Kylan, locked in his suffering," said Me Cathy Guittard to the same source.
