Fatal Shooting in Morocco’s Larache Province Stems from Family Water Dispute

A man died on Wednesday following gunfire in the commune of Tazroute (Larache province). The origin of this tragedy is a dispute between cousins over a well.
It all started with the altercation between two cousins over a watercourse, reports Barlamane. The two protagonists fought, prompting one of them to brandish a rifle and shoot the victim. Seriously injured, the victim succumbed to his injuries immediately.
Alerted, the gendarmes quickly arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect. For the needs of the investigation, he was placed in custody while the victim’s body was taken to the morgue.
