Fatal Car Crash Near Chefchaouen Claims Lives of Four Young Men During Ramadan

This Ramadan month has already recorded its share of tragedies with the death of four young men in a car accident, this Thursday, April 15, 2021, near Chefchaouen.
The four men, according to local sources, were in a light vehicle traveling at high speed, around 5:00 p.m., in the locality of Khmiss Louta, in the rural commune of Beni Selmane.
The car overturned and ended up in a deep ravine of about 50 meters, report the same sources.
The impact was so violent that three occupants aged between 22 and 26 years old died on the spot. The fourth, around his twenties, succumbed to his injuries in the emergency room of the provincial hospital of Chefchaouen where he had been transferred.
An investigation has been opened by the Royal Gendarmerie to establish the causes of this road accident.
