Falco Acquires Four Embraer Jets Leased to Royal Air Maroc

The aircraft leasing company, Falco, has just concluded the acquisition of four Embraer E190 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC). These aircraft are currently leased to the Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc.
This operation is part of a broader agreement between Falko and NAC, covering a portfolio of aircraft. With these new aircraft, Falko now owns 94 E-Jets, strengthening its position as a leader in the leasing of this type of aircraft.
Mark Hughes, Falko’s commercial director, expressed his satisfaction with the conclusion of the agreement and the integration of Royal Air Maroc as a Falko customer. Emphasizing the suitability of the E-Jets for domestic and regional operations, Hughes reiterated Falko’s commitment to Embraer products.
Falko took the opportunity to commend the professionalism of NAC throughout the process, as well as the cooperation of the airlines involved in the transfer of the leasing contracts.
Royal Air Maroc aims to expand its fleet by ordering 188 aircraft from Airbus, Boeing or Embraer. The order will consist mainly of narrow-body aircraft, complemented by wide-body aircraft with less than 350 seats and 30 regional aircraft. The final choice of manufacturer will depend on delivery times and financial conditions. In the meantime, RAM will lease aircraft to meet growing demand.
