Essaouira Named Top Eco-Friendly Spring Destination for British Travelers

Essaouira is one of the 24 best destinations that British tourists can visit next spring. This is indicated by the ranking of "Condé Nast Traveller", a magazine specializing in travel and lifestyle. The city of the trade winds is also described as one of the best environmentally friendly cities.
The city of the Trade Winds ranked 14th among the best destinations where British travelers can spend their vacations next spring, according to the publisher’s ranking. The city owes this position to its mild weather oscillating between 14 and 20°C at this time of year and it also has the advantage of being only 3h40 by plane from the United Kingdom, adds the same source.
Presenting the city’s tourist assets, the publication referred to "its Atlantic breakers and wide sandy expanses," which make it a surfer’s paradise, but also "its bohemian atmosphere". Here, there is no time to get bored with the many galleries, shops and chic little places to stay or eat that make it "now a destination in its own right, whether for a beach stay in early spring or a slightly off-the-beaten-track Moroccan getaway," it described.
Furthermore, the publication points out, "Essaouira is one of the most environmentally friendly destinations." Here, it is specified, "cafes that champion local fishermen and farmers and support the community are not lacking."
