Epstein Archives: Jack Lang, Marrakech Riad and Offshore Deal Revealed

The U.S. government’s release of 3.5 million archives linked to Jeffrey Epstein shows direct relations between the financier and Jack Lang, the current president of the Arab World Institute. According to these documents, the two men exchanged messages in March 2015 regarding a real estate transaction in Marrakech. In response to an Epstein question about the price of a riad, Jack Lang allegedly replied on March 31, 2015, that the amount was 5.4 million euros, while specifying that the transaction would be conducted “offshore.”

Questioned about these details, Jack Lang explained that he had likely forwarded the seller’s asking price at the time without adding any comment. This Monday, February 2, 2026, he told AFP that he fully stood by the ties established with Jeffrey Epstein, stressing that at the time, nothing suggested that the financier was at the center of a criminal network. These real estate exchanges add to other meetings mentioned in the archives in Paris or Avignon, highlighting a degree of closeness between the billionaire and the former minister.

The documents also reveal the involvement of his daughter, Caroline Lang, who co-founded an offshore company with Epstein in 2016. Jack Lang himself appears in the company’s articles of association under the first name “Jacques,” a recurring spelling error by the financier. Although these archives detail financial ties and joint projects, at this stage nothing suggests that Jack Lang or his daughter was involved in Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities.
