Encrypted App Dealer Busted: Luxury Lifestyle Leads to Third Drug Conviction

Prosecuted for his activity on the encrypted Sky ECC messaging service, Redouan, already convicted for drugs (cocaine and cannabis), has just received a new prison sentence.

A third conviction for Redouan. On Monday, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, with a probationary suspension. For five years, he will have to, in particular, abstain from consuming narcotic substances and have no contact with people frequenting the milieu. For a little over a year, Redouan was suspected of having used the Sky ECC messaging service to sell several kilos of cocaine and cannabis. Several elements in the file confirm the suspicions: "the dealer presented himself as ’Redouan from Charleroi’, then, for a delivery, the address provided was the home of Redouan’s brother in Lambusart," reports La Dernière Heure. That’s not all.

"There was also a selfie sent by the suspect and the person in the photo corresponds in every way to the defendant present here. Not to mention the closure of a first PIN and the creation of a second account with the same login information as the previously used account. During the infringement period, the defendant made several trips to Morocco and Thailand. At the time of the trip to Thailand, the suspect confirmed to another user that he was indeed there. And on February 13, 2020, the suspect reported that he had returned from Morocco the day before. Which is the case for Redouan," stated the substitute Teixeira against Redouan.

Another element: the suspect’s lifestyle, with purchases of Rolex watches, trips, or even the purchase of several houses.
