Emirates Expands Presence in Morocco with Renewed Casablanca-Dubai Flights

Morocco is one of the important markets for the airline Emirates on the African continent. This is what the general manager of the company in Morocco, Rashad Al Fajeer, has just declared.
Emirates has resumed its passenger services since September 18. It offers three weekly flights to Casablanca. Thus, for the Casablanca-Dubai route, demand is growing stronger, particularly for business. General Manager Rashad Al Fajeer explained that the resumption of regular flights to Casablanca reflects confidence in this destination and its strong growth potential, reports La Map.
Regarding the place of Africa in the company’s strategy, the CEO of Emirates Morocco confirmed that the continent is a "great success story" for the company. He also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring strategic links between Africa and the emerging markets of Asia, the Middle East and Australia. Given growing demand to these destinations, Rashad Al Fajeer plans to increase the number of flights to Africa in the coming months. A wish to offer Emirates passengers a wide flexibility and the possibility to travel to a large number of international destinations through the Dubai hub.
However, the CEO of Emirates Morocco estimates that it will take the company nearly two years to reach the pre-Covid-19 capacity. He states that his company is fully committed to returning soon to the pre-pandemic level, as other airports and cities reopen. In addition, Emirates is working in partnership with international and local authorities on the possibilities of gradual and effective resumption without compromising hygiene and safety rules.
