Emergency Landing in Malaga: Vueling Flight to Marrakech Diverted Due to Smoke Scare

Taking off from Barcelona on Monday evening to head to Marrakech, a plane was forced to land in Malaga, due to a suspected fire on board.
While it was supposed to connect Barcelona to Marrakech, the Airbus A320 of the Vueling Airlines company had to make an emergency landing. Indeed, around 10 p.m., the air traffic controllers were alerted by the crew about a case of suspicious smoke, reports the daily ABC.
Seized with panic, the 220 passengers will find their smile again, in the minutes that followed this signal. The Airbus A320 had to turn back, to make an emergency landing at Malaga-Costa del Sol airport, the same source points out.
Finally, there was more fear than harm. According to the Spanish media El Nacional, there were no injuries or material damage.
