Elon Musk’s Starlink Set to Expand Internet Access in Morocco and 22 Other African Countries

With his company Starlink, American billionaire Elon Musk wants to facilitate internet access for Moroccans, particularly in areas poorly served by fixed and mobile terrestrial networks.
The parent company SpaceX is working to expand the Starlink service, launched at the end of 2020, which allows access to the internet, particularly in areas poorly served by fixed and mobile terrestrial networks, against the purchase of an antenna and a modem and a subscription whose rates vary depending on the country. In this sense, the launch of this service in 23 African countries including Morocco is planned for 2023, reports Challenge. This launch is subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals in the countries concerned.
In the meantime, the company of American billionaire Elon Musk invites Moroccan consumers to order to reserve their Starlink. "Starlink is targeting coverage of your region in 2023. Availability is subject to regulatory approval. Orders will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis," the operator announces. The reservation should cost $99. This amount will have to be paid by the subscriber each month for the connection. The equipment includes a dish, a tripod, a power cable and a router and costs $499.
The Starlink service is available in about 40 states, including the United States, parts of Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and parts of Chile and Brazil.
