Electric Flying Taxis to Connect Spain and Morocco by 2030

For 150 euros and in just 15 to 20 minutes, it will be possible to travel in a taxi plane from Spain to Morocco by 2030.
The private flight operator iJet is the initiator of this project. The company has already placed an order with Crisalion, the electric and aerial mobility company, for ten units of these taxi planes that combine the advantages of an airplane, a helicopter and a drone.
These vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft will operate flights from Malaga airport to Marbella, Ronda Ceuta and Melilla or Morocco, explains Javier Barriga, CEO of iJet in an interview with EFE.
This new electric mode of transport should be operational in Spain by 2030. The aircraft, designed in the form of an advanced drone version, has a range close to that of a helicopter.
The flying taxi can only carry a maximum of five passengers per trip. The flights will last 10, 20 or 25 minutes and travelers will pay 150 or 200 euros, Barriga detailed. The development of these taxi planes will undoubtedly revolutionize the aviation sector worldwide.
