The religious commission of the Grand Mosque of Paris, with several national Muslim federations, met for the Night of Doubt on Monday, April 8, 2024, the 29th day of the blessed month of Ramadan 2024-1445/H, the Grand Mosque of Paris said in a statement.
"The commission noted the impossibility of observing the new moon and thus determined the date of Eid al-Fitr in France to be: Wednesday, April 10," it said.
"On that day, to welcome the many faithful in the best conditions, the Grand Mosque of Paris will organize two Eid al-Fitr prayers, 1st prayer at 7:30 am and a 2nd prayer at 8:15 am," the Paris Mosque also said.
