Egyptian Nuclear Scientist Dies of Heart Attack at IAEA Workshop in Morocco

Abou Bakr Abdel Mouneim Ramadan, known as the head of the Egyptian National Network for Nuclear Radiation Monitoring, died last Thursday from a heart attack. By providing this great precision, the Egyptian Ambassador to Morocco thus puts an end to the controversy surrounding the disappearance of the Egyptian scientist.
Last Thursday, while participating in a working workshop organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency in Marrakech, Abou Bakr Abdel Mouneim Ramadan, an Egyptian nuclear scientist, died of a heart attack.
However, following this unfortunate event, the controversial Al Jazeera journalist, Ahmed Mansour, inaugurated a campaign of denigration by a publication on social networks, questioning the natural causes of the death of the Egyptian scholar, notes Le360.
The height, according to the media, is that this journalist, known for his affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood, even went so far as to suggest the hypothesis of a criminal act. An accusation that was unfortunately relayed by some media outlets, which designated the Mossad as responsible for his death.
This controversy sparked a wave of skepticism that went beyond Moroccan borders, prompting the Egyptian Ambassador to Morocco, Achraf Ibrahim, to react: "Everything that has been said about the death of Professor Abou Bakr Abdel Mouneim Ramadan should be taken with a grain of salt because no one knows the truth. However, I know that the preliminary examination of the deceased’s body shows that the death occurred following a heart attack."
In their Monday, September 9 editions, the daily newspapers Al Ahdath Al Maghribia and Assabah took up the statements of the Egyptian Ambassador. He warned against everything that has been relayed on social networks. The diplomat also indicated that the Egyptian Embassy and the Moroccan authorities are finalizing the procedures to repatriate the remains of the deceased.
