Egyptian Music Syndicate Blocks Duet Between Mohammed Ramadan and Saad Lamjarred

While Saad Lamjarred was preparing a duet with Egyptian artist Mohammed Ramadan, this project has just been canceled. And it’s not Lamjarred’s fault...
"Prohibition for Mohammed Ramadan to sing in the company of Lamjarred," headlines the newspaper Al Akhbar. Indeed, a duet was planned, and Saad Lamjarred, banned from leaving French territory, had made known that he was spending his time focusing on his artistic works, including the clip of this duet song. Which will therefore not take place.
The Egyptian Syndicate of Music Professions, chaired by Hani Chaker, would be behind this ban. Before anything else, this duet song must have the approval of an artistic committee whose work will be to define "the artistic level" of this work to come or not.
Criticism is indeed raining down on Mohammed Ramadan, regarding his latest works, concerts, and others. The media and social networks of some are putting him in the dock and other personalities or ordinary citizens are addressing the Syndicate to complain about the poor quality of his performances (especially concerning a recent party that took place in Cairo). These would be ethical and moral parameters...
So the question becomes: Is this duet with Lamjarred at risk of shocking?
