EasyJet to Resume Flights from France to Marrakech for Holiday Season

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and the airline EasyJet are working to launch a program of flights from France to Marrakech for the year-end holiday period starting December 19, 2020.
Starting December 19, 2020, EasyJet will operate flights to Marrakech from four French airports: Paris CDG, Bordeaux, Lyon and Nice. "The resumption of EasyJet flights to Morocco is a strong and reassuring signal for the recovery we are working on. We are convinced that this offer for the coming weeks will attract a significant number of travelers who will come to celebrate the end-of-year holidays in Morocco. We are also working on all destinations from the main source markets so that the offer is increasingly important and deployed on the main tourist destinations in our country," said Adel El Fakir, CEO of ONMT.
The program covers a period of more than two weeks - between December 19, 2020 and January 3, 2021 inclusive - with a total of 29 frequencies planned. Paris Charles-de-Gaulle: 10 total frequencies (round-trip) at a rate of 5 flights per week starting Saturday, December 19, Nice: 8 total frequencies at a rate of 4 flights per week starting Saturday, December 19, Lyon: 6 total frequencies, at a rate of 3 flights per week starting Sunday, December 20 and finally Bordeaux: 5 total frequencies starting Saturday, December 19.
"We are very pleased to resume our flights to Morocco for the end-of-year holidays. EasyJet is the second largest airline in France and has built a choice network serving Paris and the regions. In this particular period we are going through, we are constantly working to offer an attractive network in line with customer demand, while ensuring flights operated in compliance with the strictest health standards," said Reginald Otten, Deputy Managing Director of EasyJet for France.
