easyJet Launches Bordeaux–Agadir Flights as Volotea Delays Return Until December
Two airlines, two schedules for flights between Bordeaux and Agadir. easyJet opened its new route on Sunday, October 25, while Volotea has pushed back its return to December 19. For part of the autumn, travelers will have to contend with a gap of nearly eight weeks.
In Bordeaux, the Agadir service is changing for the winter. easyJet has set October 25 as the launch date for its direct flights to the Moroccan seaside resort. Volotea, which had planned to resume the route on November 3, has ultimately postponed its schedule until Saturday, December 19.

The easyJet press release sets out two flights per week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. Bordeaux Airport gives the journey time as around 2 h 50. When sales opened in April, the airline advertised a starting fare of 50 euros one way, excluding baggage fees.
Flight U2 1845 was scheduled to depart Bordeaux at 7:30 a.m. on October 25. The route gives residents of southwestern France a new way to reach Agadir nonstop, ahead of the launch of Volotea’s winter service.
Volotea pushes its return back by 46 days
The schedule change appears in an analysis published on October 20 by AeroRoutes. The specialist compared the original schedules with those listed as of October 18: Bordeaux–Agadir has shifted from November 3 to December 19. The new date is also listed on the Bordeaux Airport website.
The postponement also affects Bordeaux–Marrakech, which is now expected to resume on December 19. That route is then set to drop from two weekly flights to one starting January 7, 2027.

The changes also affect Lille–Agadir, Nantes–Agadir and Strasbourg–Marrakech, all of which are now due to resume on December 19. By contrast, easyJet plans to launch two weekly flights between Nantes and Essaouira from Tuesday, October 27, operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
For travelers from Bordeaux, the two airlines’ published schedules will offer departure dates to Agadir during the same period only from December 19.
