EasyJet Expands Winter Routes: 13 New Flights from Lisbon to Morocco, Spain, and France

The British company EasyJet is preparing to launch 13 new air links, particularly to Morocco, as part of the strengthening of its winter program.
Departing from Lisbon starting in October, EasyJet will launch 13 new destinations, including Morocco (Marrakech), Spain (Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia...) and France (Marseille, Toulouse, Limoges...), reports Air Journal. Customers will be able to buy tickets from August 18th. In total, nearly half a million additional seats departing from the Portuguese capital will be put on sale next winter.
The announcement of the launch of these new routes follows the low-cost company’s acquisition of 18 take-off and landing slots belonging to the Portuguese airline TAP Air Portugal. Obtaining these slots "will allow us to grow" and become the "second company in Lisbon," said José Lopes, EasyJet’s director for Portugal, during a press conference.
