EasyJet Computer Glitch Causes 200 Flight Cancellations, Disrupts Travel to Morocco and Europe

The airline EasyJet has been forced to cancel many flights to Morocco. The origin of this decision is a breakdown of its computer system.
In total, 200 flights were canceled on Thursday, May 26 by the British low-cost airline due to a computer failure. According to the company, the flights resumed last night but disruptions continued and its program may be disrupted until this Friday morning due to a domino effect. At the airports of Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle, Lyon, Toulouse or Nice, more than twenty flights departing or arriving from the United Kingdom, Morocco, Portugal, Italy or Spain were canceled, reports France info. Other flights were delayed.
"Our team of IT specialists is working to restore our systems as quickly as possible. We advise customers who need to travel with us to continue to check Flight Tracker to check the status of their flight before going to the airport," said an EasyJet spokesperson. "We apologize for the inconvenience and want to thank customers for their patience as we work to resolve this issue," she added.
