Dutch Police Arrest Moroccan Suspect in Lawyer’s Murder Case

The cousin of Redouane Taghi has just been arrested by the Dutch authorities for his alleged involvement in the murder of the lawyer of a Moroccan national.
The case dates back to last September, when lawyer Derk Wiersum was shot dead by several bullets a few meters from his home in Amsterdam by unknown individuals, presumably hired by one Anouar Taghi.
According to the elements of the investigation carried out by the security services, Redouane Taghi’s cousin, acting on the initiative of the latter, had been previously sentenced to 4 years in prison for belonging to a criminal gang specialized in the explosion of ATMs.
Let us recall that the mastermind of the operations and the sponsor of the La Crème café shootout, which resulted in the death of a young man in November 2017, is still at large. According to information received by the police, he would be in Dubai.
