Drunk Official Sparks Outrage After Serious Car Crash in Tangier, Morocco

Alcohol would once again be the cause of an accident that occurred on Friday night in Tanger, in the north of the country.
This accident involved at least two cars, that of a moqaddem and a university professor who were seriously injured, reports the Alyaoum24 website, which specifies that another 4x4 vehicle overturned.
The problem is that the state agent was intoxicated at the time of the accident, explains the same source, and several comments circulating on social media express their anger, all the more so as the latter is not his first accident and that he is currently being prosecuted by the justice system for another accident... also while intoxicated.
Still according to Alyaoum24, the local authorities are concerned about the alarming increase in the number of accidents in the city in recent months, due in particular to non-compliance with the highway code (speed, respect for signs) and especially drunk driving.
