Drug Trafficking Network Busted: Drone Seized with 16,200 Rivotril Tablets Near Ceuta

The police elements of Fnideq managed to seize a drone that was transporting large quantities of "Rivotril" tablets to Ceuta. An individual with links to an international psychotropic trafficking network was also arrested.
The operation took place last Friday after the close surveillance of drone activity in a region (Oued Addaouiate) bordering the city of Ceuta. It resulted in the arrest of the main suspect of a network involved in the trafficking of psychotropic substances. The Fnideq police elements thwarted an attempt to traffic 16,200 Rivotril tablets that the defendant had received by air.
The suspect and his accomplices were in the habit of using a drone to supply themselves with large quantities of "Rivotril" tablets, an anticonvulsant drug commonly called "Bola Hamra" that many delinquents take to commit snatching thefts, reports Assabah. After his arrest, the alleged trafficker was placed in custody for the needs of the investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office.
