Drug Smugglers Use Drones to Bypass Ceuta-Morocco Border, Authorities Intercept Narco-Drone

A narco-drone, loaded with drugs destined for Ceuta, was intercepted during an operation carried out in Fnideq. The cargo, consisting of small quantities of drugs, was also seized.
Drones had recently been identified, including a device that carried a heavier load of 4kg, which ultimately caused it to fall into the void, reports El faro de Ceuta, specifying that an investigation has been opened to establish the link between the two drones and identify the network responsible.
The closure of the borders in March last between Ceuta and Morocco has strengthened drug trafficking by drones, now very prosperous. This technique used by small networks aims to bypass the border area by air, introducing all kinds of substances.
